Competition Dec2009-March2010 & feature film viewing in Summer 2010 What? The structure of the film are as thus. The perlude introduces the numerous debates. One of these view is taken on board- for no other reason- it helps to drive the fiction story of the movie. 1) the aftermath of the earthquake; 2) the yearning to be reunited between love ones; 3) the recourse to nature-mind/universal force/intelligence- in the absence of made-made means. These constituents Part 1 and Part2 of the film. The interval in between those 2 parts looks at contemporary practices towards tackling climate changes- in the context of the film . The postscript looks at contemporary grassroot thinking and practices and invite the grassroot - to contribute diversely towards their Earth and communities. When? This year, we invite you to take part in the competition. These entries will be inserted in : 1) Interval B-green christmas 2) and Interval C- for our broadcasting clip which helps to explain terms for our 2 hour feature film: ''The North&South Pole Switch''; 3) and Postscript B which follows Postscript A-see clips on our channel: www.youtube/northsouthpoleswitch a) 'Green Christmas' . Christmas is a very Christian celebration. What does it mean to have a Christmas which is green? How do those who are not Christians - especially those of other faith celebrate Christmas? Are their faith's celebration more green or less green than those celebrating Christmas as a British Culture or as a Christians? b) How could technology-natural and man-made be an alternative to solving climate change crisis?. c) Open Category. For those who need a framework, it could be: How could community, culture & faith play a part in solving climate change crisis? How could this be faith-friendly? For example, the commonalities that faith shares are: peace, care, love, hope, harmony and non-greed. Could a focus on solving climate change- eg, non-greedy lifestyle, love of the planet and the people and things on the planet - be a welcomed diversion away from our community problem such as those caused by youth crime or that caused by the divided attributed to poverty?
